On Hijra and Human Rights of Migrants

My clients ask why our closed in Jordan! Today is Hijra anniversary meaning the 1447th anniversary of Prophet Muhammed’s migration from Mecca to Medina. It is an anniversary where we learn about the importance of human compassion and solidarity with migrants,

Over 1400 have passed, and humanity still face challenging issues related to migration, asylum seeking, and integration of new arrivals into hoar countries – sometimes the challenge is simply providing security and nutrition. In the heated debate about migration, human rights of vulnerable men, women and children can be forgotten.

As we celebrate Hijra today, we can only be grateful to NGO efforts assisting immigrants in challenging situations. Therefore, we may only take pride in the work of local and international and humanitarian organizations committed to assisting immigrates and shouldering the load with their host countries – for example let us be thankful to –
